Our next Drogheda Cycling community cycle combines a beautiful riverside spin with a chance to help keep one of our favourite local beaches litter-free.
Meet: Courtyard Coffee, Drogheda
- 10:30am - Depart for Baltray
- 11:00am - Arrive at Baltray Beach
- Collect litter from the beach and leave it at the designated collection point
- 12:15pm - Tea/Coffee at Baltray Golf Club
- Approx. 1:30pm - Return to Drogheda
The route follows the River Boyne on a largely flat road, making it suitable for most cyclists. While it is not a main road, traffic can be busy at times, so please ride carefully and follow group ride guidance.
- Gloves will be provided for litter picking
- Bikes will be supervised by a member of the group while we clean the beach
- Bringing a bike lock is recommended if you have one
- Bring a drink and a small snack
- Helmets are mandatory
Whether you're a regular cyclist, interested in meeting new people, or simply want to do something positive for the local environment, we'd love to have you join us.
